My Role
Deliverables: Logo, Informational Booklet, Postcards, and Magazine Advertisement
In 2023, I created a new brand for Nautilus Precision Tools, LLC to be proud of. My responsibilities was to perform user research of his brand and competition, sketch and fully design the logo and typeface, implement and new color palette, and find a way to spread the information locally to potential customers.
My Process
As I start the design process for Nautilus Precision Tools, the first step before anything is to research the company and its competitors as much as possible. Within the company, I knew that Mr. Ray was a former Navy Seal that enjoys working on machinery. Before sketching the first design and designing on illustrator however, I wanted to bring all key words that are relevant to the subject or history of the owner.The first think came to mind is a ships anchor.
Fonts and Color
The style of font paired with the logo and deliverables is significant to the design. Same as color, giving the overall design as certain look and feel. Research and constant communication is very important during the process to tone to all viewers.
With the combination of all three, the results are astounding. A perfect blend of precision and elegant design for a logo. With the same principles, any task and design can be accomplished.
